What we do

At Świat Rozpędu, we bring Rozpędizm into practice by creating spaces, experiences, and opportunities for young people to grow, connect, and take action. Our work combines local community engagement, international cooperation, and creative learning environments.

We focus on long-term personal and social development through non-formal education, creativity, and participation.

Local (Lublin & Region)

Świat Rozpędu works actively within the local community to support young people in their personal and professional development through a wide range of non-formal education projects and activities.

We focus on creating opportunities for young people to participate, lead, and shape their own environment.

Our key local areas include:

  • Youth engagement and participation in community projects
  • Sport, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles
  • Storytelling through theatre, dance, role play, and creative methods
  • Digital skills and cultural heritage
  • Leadership development and employability skills

We collaborate with youth organisations and schools across Lublin and actively contribute to local initiatives, including Youth Zones and city-wide programmes.

We are also preparing to engage further in upcoming initiatives connected to Lublin’s youth development strategy and the broader cultural process leading towards the European Capital of Culture 2029.

Cegielnia Youth Space (Coming Soon)

We are currently developing Cegielnia Youth Space in Lublin — a new creative and educational hub for young people.

Cegielnia will be a place where Rozpędizm becomes visible in everyday practice: a space for workshops, creative activities, community projects, and international encounters.

It will support:

  • Non-formal education workshops
  • Creative and artistic expression
  • Youth-led initiatives and projects
  • Meetings, trainings, and international activities
  • A safe and inclusive environment for young people

Cegielnia will become a central base for our local work and a meeting point for young people, educators, and partners from across Europe.

International

We strongly believe in the transformative power of international experiences. Through exposure to different cultures, perspectives, and ways of thinking, young people develop openness, confidence, and global awareness.

Our international work is rooted in intercultural learning, inclusion, and cooperation.

We collaborate with partner organisations across Europe to develop and implement projects that combine learning, mobility, and participation. These include:

  • Youth empowerment programmes
  • Leadership and personal development training
  • Digital skills and media education
  • Life skills and employability-focused activities
  • Creative and intercultural learning projects

The team at Świat Rozpędu has been actively involved in the Erasmus+ programme (formerly Youth in Action) for many years, and we remain fully committed to continuing our engagement in the 2021–2027 programme cycle.

European Solidarity Corps

At present, we do not host or send European Solidarity Corps volunteers, but we aim to develop this opportunity in the near future as part of our growing international engagement.

We look forward to welcoming volunteers to our work and to the city of Lublin.

EU Youth Conference - Lublin

The EU Youth Conference under the Polish Presidency took place in Lublin from March 2-5, 2025. As part of the EU Youth Dialogue, the event brought together 300 young people from nearly 40 countries, including EU and candidate nations, to discuss the implementation of Youth Goal #1 at the European level. Over 2.5 days, youth delegations and policymakers collaborated to develop recommendations for youth policy. Experts and decision-makers provided insights to support the process, and the conference outcomes contributed to official EU Council documents.

As part of the content team, we played an active role in shaping the conference program and facilitating key discussions. We worked within Workshop 1, "You and EU Values," which provided participants with an interactive space to explore the core values of the European Union and reflect on their relevance in today's world. Through engaging activities and discussions we came up with a key issue, a desired social change and 2 implementing measures that would form part of the policy document that would be a recommendation of the Polish Presidency of the EU.

Uprooted

“Uprooted – (Hi)Stories of Stolen Children in WWII and Beyond” is an engaging and immersive educational programme that delves into the harrowing history of children forcibly abducted from their families during times of conflict. The programme started with a strong focus on children who were stolen from German-occupied parts of countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic and Ukraine during World War II and taken back to Germany where they were subjected to forced “Germanisation”. Now Uprooted is broadening the scope of the programme to take a closer look at the fates of children in other conflicts and across different countries.

We run training of the trainers programmes and Youth meetings across the EU and the project is managed by Kreisau-Initiative e. V., Germany.

Świat Rozpędu, Poland -  joined the Uprooted project in 2024 as part of the delivery team and workshop providers.

Hands Up for EuroPeers

The "Hands up for Europeers" project was an Erasmus+ KA2 initiative designed to expand and strengthen the EuroPeers network in Slovakia. Running over 18 months, it brought together two main partners—Slovakia and Poland—to develop a solid framework and sustainable activities for the Slovak branch of EuroPeers. The project's goal was to create a vibrant, youth-driven network that would empower young people to become ambassadors of European mobility, promoting Erasmus+ and other international opportunities in their local communities.

Key activities included developing a tailored approach for the Slovak context, creating tools for outreach and engagement, and building the capacity of young people to lead events and share their experiences. Through workshops, training sessions, and collaborative planning, the project equipped participants with the skills needed to grow the network and ensure its long-term success in Slovakia. This initiative contributed to fostering greater youth engagement and enhancing cross-cultural exchange across Europe.

NGO 2.0: Empowering Youth Organizations Digitally

NGO 2.0 was created in response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to support youth organizations in adapting to a digital world. The project developed a comprehensive web platform for managing administrative tasks, networking, and fostering collaboration. It also introduced a Digital Youth Worker Virtual Training program, teaching youth workers to use digital tools, facilitate online processes, and create intercultural learning experiences. Additionally, the project offered virtual trainings on key transversal skills, including sustainability, intercultural learning, conflict management, and youth leadership. These trainings equip youth workers with essential skills for digital youth work. NGO 2.0 has strengthened the digital capabilities of youth organisations, enabling them to continue fostering development, learning, and collaboration in an increasingly digital landscape.

Youth Connect Ukraine

Youth Connect Ukraine

Youth Connect Ukraine

Youth Connect for Ukraine is a British Council programme that aims to support young Ukrainians to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives now, wherever they are living. It aspires to support young people, including women, girls and those from disadvantaged groups affected by the war in Ukraine to have the skills and motivation to build connections in their local context and influence their own future and their communities.

We are designing training and activities to build leadership attributes that are needed in times of disruption and to support the social development of young people.

The programme’s ambition is to meet the needs of young leaders from Ukraine and Europe (aged 16–30) and equip them with the skills, resources and networks that they need to provide leadership in their current communities and in a reconstructed Ukraine as part of a European network.

Time for Tea

Youth Connect Ukraine

Youth Connect Ukraine

Time for Tea was an educational activity which uses tea to give young people a voice. It encourages global learning, creative thinking and social action. It is a 3-stage process which gets children and young people thinking about important issues and then communicating their ideas to people who make decisions. Time for Tea is simple, fun and open to everyone regardless of age, background or ability. There were projects active in over 30 countries.

The EU Erasmus+ Programme has supported the development of Time for Tea through two strategic partnership and capacity-building projects.

These projects have extended Time for Tea to schools and youth organisations not only in more European countries, but also in India, the Philippines and Thailand. We have produced and tested a range of promotional and supporting materials which will help teachers and youth workers to join the programme and then embed Time for Tea as a regular activity in their work.

Youthwork 360

Adult Education through Sport

Youth for Europe

YouthWork360 was an innovative strategic project designed to enhance the skills of youth workers by leveraging the power of Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The project focused on developing 15 cutting-edge educational tools aimed at improving youth workers’ ability to engage and educate young people in an immersive, interactive way. These tools were designed to help youth workers better understand and navigate the challenges faced by youth today, especially in relation to mobility and non-formal learning opportunities.

Through the use of VR, the project created dynamic video content that showcased various aspects of international youth mobility, allowing youth workers to explore these opportunities in a more engaging manner. Additionally, YouthWork360 promoted non-formal education methods and highlighted the potential of VR in creating experiential learning environments. The project successfully distributed these resources, aiming to equip youth workers with innovative tools that can enrich their work and inspire future generations.

ScribersHive Europe: A Creative Exploration of Cultural and Social Issues

ScribersHive Europe was a unique initiative consisting of two separate 12-month projects that brought together participants from 15 European countries to explore cultural and social issues through creative media. In partnership with YOU Press, a London-based organization, the project took place in the UK, Poland, and Greece.

Participants received training in written journalism, graphic design/comic strips, filmmaking, and podcast production, allowing them to explore complex social topics and express their views through various forms of media. The project encouraged participants to add their own cultural perspectives to the work, creating a diverse range of pieces that reflected different European realities. By learning valuable skills in storytelling and digital media production, participants gained a deeper understanding of the power of creative expression as a tool for addressing global issues. ScribersHive Europe fostered intercultural dialogue and helped young people from across Europe develop skills to share their voices with the world.
